Yoga is a form of exercise and deep breathing practice widely used for health and relaxation purposes. There are a variety of different styles within yoga focusing on specific goals and programs. These program can focus on structure with the use of blocks and straps to meditation and breathing. At Trē Yoga Studio, we take it one step farther by focusing on specifics ailments as well (e.g. sciatica, headaches, etc).

Beginner / Basic

The beginner classes introduces fundamental principles of alignment, medication & breath work. Various yoga postures will be gone through step-by-step with verbal description and demonstration. Emphasis is placed on understanding, safety, and stability within each pose. If you have never tried yoga, this class is perfect for you and is designed to meet the needs of those new to yoga as well as those seeking continued understanding of basic yoga poses.

Mixed Level

Our mixed level yoga class both challenges beginners and advanced students alike.
Your instructor offers proper modifications for beginners and options for advanced students to take their practice to the next level. Poses are also generally held for shorter periods of time so that transitions between poses become part of the flow. This allows for more poses to be practiced during a class

Hot Yoga

Largely the same thing as Bikram. Generally, the only difference between Bikram and hot yoga is that the hot yoga studio deviates from Bikram’s sequence in some small way, and so they must call themselves by another name. The room is heated and you will sweat buckets, so check out our mats and accessories specifically designed for hot yoga classes.

Individual / Special Needs

This class is designed for those in need of a bit more attention. While our staff does a great job handling group yoga sessions, this class can be better suited for those who might have restrictive ailments or would prefer a one of one class.

Calming / Restorative

While all yoga sessions are inherently calming, this class focuses a little more on the breathing method and guided meditation. Poses will be held for longer period of time and the instructor will offer input for a deeper stretch. Great for beginners as well!


Perinatal Yoga, while not a style of yoga, is an approach that is founded on a set of principles that can be woven into any style of yoga. The goal is to help our pregnant patients prepare emotionally and physically for birth, but also to help postpartum. This allows for an easier adjustment period while new tasks are tackled and possibly new ailments arise.


Breathing is possibly the most important reason why yoga works so well. As humans, our bodies shy away from positions that we do not breath well in. In order to “own” a position, we need to be able to properly take a breath. For example, squatting or bending forward to pick something up is going to work a lot better biomechanically if you’re not holding your breath.
