WHAT IS AN ANTI-INFLAMMATORY INJECTION?
Our office uses Toradol for this treatment and is used as a short-term treatment of moderate to severe pain. It’s a great option if you’re in considerable pain in many areas or say have symptoms of a herniated disc. Our office cannot inject directly into the disc space and anyplace would require an MRI or imaging of the area first. This is a quick option for when flair up occur. This medication is also a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking your body’s production of certain natural substances that cause inflammation.

RECOMMENDED USE
For acute pain flair up. Never used for long term management.
